Our invited talk series continued with an insightful presentation on “EoS-FM: Towards an Efficient Foundation Model in Remote Sensing” by Ass. Prof. Minh-Tan Pham from Université Bretagne Sud. The talk introduced cutting-edge approaches to building efficient foundation models for Earth Observation, sparking engaging discussions with the NTUA RSLab team.
As part of the session, students once again pitched their research ideas and ongoing work, creating a dynamic mentoring environment and encouraging valuable feedback and exchange of perspectives.
🤝 In parallel, we strengthened collaboration with our cluster partner, the AXOLOTL Project. Representatives from the MeDiTwin project and partners including Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute and University of South Brittany came together to explore synergies, align sustainability plans, and identify future opportunities.
The meeting focused on building joint initiatives and preparing for upcoming funding calls in AI for Earth Observation (AI4EO) and environmental monitoring, reinforcing our shared commitment to impactful, long-term collaboration.
