The ELLIS Summer School 2025 successfully concluded this September, bringing together leading minds in artificial intelligence for a week of lectures, discussions, and networking. NTUA, through the Meditwin project, was proud to co-organize the event, with three out of four Meditwin partners playing key roles in shaping the program. Their contributions spanned the full spectrum — from serving on organizing committees and delivering keynote lectures, to leading Zero2Hero tutorials and guiding multiple research challenges.
In addition to contributing to the organization, Meditwin sponsored two international participants offering them the opportunity to join the Summer School and engage with Europe’s AI research community. This sponsorship reflects Meditwin’s mission to foster inclusivity and global collaboration in cutting-edge research.
Taking advantage of this international gathering, the MeDiTwin consortium also held its General Assembly meeting during the week. The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress, strengthen collaboration among partners, and plan next steps for the project.
By co-organizing the ELLIS Summer School and actively supporting young researchers, Meditwin continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing AI research and ensuring that innovation is shaped by a diverse and global community.
